Disney made an advertisement for a new movie called Predator Badlands. The ad showed a big alien holding a small body that was cut in half. Parents saw this ad on a big screen by the road in Scotland. They were very worried.
Two parents told the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) about the ad. They said it was too scary for young children. The ASA agreed with the parents. They said the ad was disturbing and could frighten children.
Disney said the small body was a robot, not a real person. But the ASA said children could not tell this from the ad. The ASA banned the ad and told Disney to be more careful in the future.
