German athletes protested at the Winter Paralympics. They turned their backs on Russian gold winners during the medal ceremony.
Russian athletes are competing under their flag for the first time since 2014. Russia was banned before because of doping and the war in Ukraine. Now the ban is lifted.
Linn Kazmaier from Germany won silver. She said the ceremony felt strange. She and her guide kept their hats on. They did not turn to the Russian flag. They wanted to show they do not support Russia's actions.
