Two people have been arrested for stealing jewels from the Louvre museum in Paris. The theft happened last Sunday. Four thieves broke into the museum during the day and took jewels worth €88 million.
The police caught one person at the airport as he was trying to leave France. The other person was also arrested. The thieves used tools to break into the museum and threatened the guards.
The museum's security was not good enough to stop the theft. Now, the Louvre has moved its most valuable jewels to a safer place in a bank.
