In Indonesia, there are beautiful islands called Raja Ampat. These islands have many colorful fish and coral reefs. But now, people are digging for a metal called nickel on these islands.
Nickel is used to make batteries for electric cars. The digging is hurting the forests and the sea. It makes the water dirty, which is bad for the fish and coral.
The government of Indonesia has stopped some of the digging. They want to protect the sea life. But one company can still dig for nickel. Some people are happy about this decision, but others are worried the digging might start again.
