New Approach to Fight Malaria

Scientists have a new idea to stop malaria. Malaria is a disease that makes many people sick. It comes from mosquitoes.

The new plan is to give medicine to mosquitoes. This medicine will stop the malaria in the mosquitoes. Then, the mosquitoes cannot make people sick.

Right now, people use nets to keep mosquitoes away when they sleep. The nets have poison to kill mosquitoes. But some mosquitoes do not die from the poison anymore.

Scientists want to put the new medicine on bed nets. This way, when mosquitoes touch the nets, they will get the medicine. The scientists hope this will work better to stop malaria.
