Police Wear Fancy Dress in Rio Carnival Phone Theft Sting

Police in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, wore special costumes during Carnival. They dressed as superheroes and movie characters to catch phone thieves.

Officers wore masks of Captain America, Batman, and other famous characters. They caught two people stealing phones. A woman took a phone from someone at the festival. Then she gave it to a man. A police drone saw everything.

The police found five stolen phones. They will give them back to the owners. Carnival is a big festival in Rio. Many people visit, but some thieves also come. The police want to keep everyone safe.
