A devastating flood has hit the town of Mokwa in Nigeria's Niger State. More than 200 people have died, and 500 are still missing. The flood, described as the worst in 60 years, swept through two districts after heavy rains.
Many residents lost their homes and loved ones. One man, Adamu Yusuf, lost his wife and newborn baby to the flood. Another resident, Saliu Sulaiman, lost his home and business profits.
The government and aid agencies are now working to help the affected people. They are providing relief packages and dealing with the aftermath of the disaster. The flood has also damaged roads and bridges, affecting the local economy.
