Big Tech Backs Anthropic Against Trump Administration

Big American tech companies are helping Anthropic. Anthropic is fighting against the Trump government.

Anthropicmakes AI tools. The company said no to the government. It did not want its tools used for watching people or making weapons. The government got angry. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called Anthropic a "risk." This never happened to an American company before.

Google, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft support Anthropic. They think the government is wrong. Microsoft said AI should not watch all people or start wars. The companies worry the government will punish them too if they speak freely.
